- Residual heat from the household waste plant: Residual heat from the Alkmaar household waste plant is used at one location, so that no fossil fuels are needed for heating.
- Energetic coupling of sites: Several sites are energetically linked to each other, making optimal use of the heat produced.
- Cultivation location in Portugal: The cultivation location in Portugal uses natural energy: the sun and the temperature of the country. As a result, no lighting or heating is required.
- Water-saving plants: Succulents are naturally water-saving plants and require little to no treatments during cultivation.
- Bicycle plan for employees: To reduce the burden on the environment and promote the health of employees, Amigo Plant offers a bicycle plan.
- MPS-A and MPS-GAP certified: Amigo Plant meets the strict requirements of MPS-A and MPS-GAP, which guarantees that the plants are grown in a responsible and sustainable manner.
