The plant grows to a height of 20-30 cm, has beautiful linear gray-blue leaves with a white-gray underside and blooms abundantly in spring with small bell-shaped flowers. Andromeda likes acidic soil and can be combined well with Calluna, Erica, Pieris, Rhododendron, Gaultheria, Ferns and Azalea. These plants are suitable for rock gardens and pots.
